In 008, At the TOKEN2049, the largest web3 & crypto global conference in Asia, held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on September 13th and 14th, 2023. We would like to introduce a report from the day of the event.
■ What is TOKEN2049?
TOKEN2049 is a premier web3 & crypto event where decision-makers from the global digital asset ecosystem gather for discussions and networking every year in Singapore and London. It is a worldwide conference attracting entrepreneurs, industry professionals, investors, and individuals with a strong interest in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.
■ Overview of the Event on the Day
More than 10,000 people worldwide attended, making it a great success with meet-ups, workshops, booths, and side events held over the two days. About 300 people visited the JOC booth. A sincere thank you to everyone who visited!
Compared to a few years ago, the number of tokens with questionable credibility has decreased, and the products of blockchain layers, wallets, node/endpoint providers, custodians, NFT platforms, and DeFi exchanges have become more distinct. The web3 industry is increasingly being populated by players who conduct their business prudently.
■ High Interest in Japan Open Chain
Over 300 visitors to the Japan Open Chain booth expressed high interest in various global projects originating from Japan, such as initiatives related to stablecoins launched by Japanese financial institutions, projects with municipalities, and the IEO scheduled for next year. Some visitors engaged in specific discussions about organizing meetings after the event and forming partnerships.
