CAC Corporation Joins Japan Open Chain as Validator

Going forward, JOC will utilize CAC's track record and technological capabilities in production-grade development and actual operation of enterprise blockchain systems to collaborate on stable blockchain operations and development and provision of web3 solutions for corporations.

Currently, validators of "Japan Open Chain" include CORGEAR Co., Ltd. (Sony's in-group startup), CyberLinks Co., Ltd., Dentsu Inc., NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Group), G.U.Technologies Co., Ltd., insprout Corporation, Kudasai Inc., Minna Bank, Ltd., pixiv Inc., TIS Inc., extra mile Inc. (TV Asahi Group), and Kyoto University of the Arts, with a final target of 21 companies.

CAC will participate as a blockchain co-operator of Japan Open Chain, utilizing its track record in production-grade commissioned development and actual operation of enterprise blockchain systems (security tokens, stablecoins, traceability systems, etc.) since 2017 through a dedicated blockchain department, providing a blockchain that Japanese companies can use with confidence together with other co-operators, while also promoting deployment of the following Web3 services contributing to solving social issues.

  • Management and operation toward expansion and stable operation of this blockchain platform
    • Validation of transaction data recorded on the blockchain
    • Technical examination regarding improvements in security, performance, and stability
  • Examination of new Web3 services toward solving social issues
    • Verification of Web3-related technologies and services such as NFT, DID/VC, DAO
    • Examination toward social implementation of proprietary services (engagement token platform "KOUKA," etc.) and stablecoin-related services
